Camera Techniques Practical and Evaluation
I and my partner was asked to create a short sequence including most, if not all of the camera techniques. Our original plan was to make our short a clip a chasing sequence however, we thought that it would be too fast. So we decided to make our sequence a horror focusing on mystery and isolation but to be honest my acting wasn't all too well. So then we began recording, my partner was in charge of the camera and we recorded each of the scenes inside the school in the corridors. We planned that we would try and include all of the camera techniques and we ordered each technique based on it's relevance to our scenes surroundings. We had recorded all the scenes that we could and had used all the techniques that we were able to accomplish but we were unable to fully reflect the story of our short sequence. We also missed one of the camera techniques that we were able to do, which was the pan technique, on the other hand after recording each of the scenes we were then finally able to edit and create our short sequence. It was very fun to learn how to edit and produce our short clip and we were able to do it through the use of the HD camera and the tripod. Here is the product of our first attempt at recording a short sequence with the use of multiple camera techniques.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NabGeUWLp0
