Animatic

The video above is Death Period's Animatic. We were tasked to create one which would represent and give a brief idea of what our ideal opening thriller would look like, in turn my group decided to only include the image of the shot from the story board in the frame so that it would help to focus and portray the story and actions of the characters. Furthermore because we are trying to make our story board into an Animatic, we decided that we wanted to express the movement of the characters by adding movement and scaling effects. In doing so we hope to present the actions of our opening thrillers characters and their feelings during that moment. However although our story boards images weren't perfect with backgrounds, we were able to give a small virtual image of what our opening thriller might look like if we recorded it with the camera shots and actions we had thought of. Moreover in order for Animatic to give an idea of what our opening thriller might look like and feel like we also had to include audio of which we were also going to use for our opening thriller. If you have watched it then you will hear that we have included relevant sound and music. This Animatic was created much like recording an opening thriller and editing it but instead for the Animatic we just took pictures of all the drawings and added effects to replicate actions which the characters would do in those scenes.
